WHO WE ARE
At GroThru, we believe in turning challenges into opportunities. Our mission is to spread a message of growth and resilience while supporting initiatives that protect the planet and uplift the culture of the people of the land. GroThru was born from a deep appreciation for Hawai‘i—its beauty, history, and people. We’ve taken the idea of “leaving a place better than you found it” to heart, building a brand that gives back with purpose.
Although we live here, we recognize we are guests on this land. Through GroThru, we hope to serve respectfully and contribute meaningfully—by supporting causes that matter locally and globally while inspiring others to grow through what they go through.
WHAT WE DO
We love to create stylish, everyday apparel that reflects the causes we care about—subtly and with intention. Our designs are inspired by growth, conservation, and resilience, but remain clean, timeless, and easy to wear anywhere. We believe that fashion can be both meaningful and practical, and our goal is to offer pieces that spark purpose and conversation without sacrificing style.
HOW WE WORK
At GroThru, we seek out local nonprofits, charities, and organizations whose missions and values align with our own. Although our designs are worn all over the world, proceeds from our collections are donated only to groups based in Hawaiʻi that are doing impactful work—from conservation and reforestation to cultural preservation and community resilience. We hope to rotate the organizations we support so that our impact can be broad and far-reaching, and we’re always looking to expand our partnerships.
Your input is a key part of how we grow. If you know of—or want to advocate for—an organization that aligns with our mission, we’d love to hear from you. Sustainability and transparency are also central to how we operate. We’re committed to continually improving our practices and staying open to new ideas, partnerships, and solutions that help us leave the land better than we found it.
